VetHousingMatters.com is an organizations dedicated to housing Veterans. Our private, co-living model promotes friendship, respect, and peace among housing members. We work with case managers from Veteran Administration Hospital and other government agencies to address housing needs amongst Veterans.
We are accepting future members to join our Waitlist for housing in Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Veterans are referred to us from VA Services and must meet criteria before being accepted. Our acceptance guidelines include no pets or Emotional service animals, no criminal history within the last 10 years, no sex offense, a 540 credit score, and of course Honorable discharge from their branch of service. We also do not house individuals from shelters or unhoused individuals.
Typically, Veterans live in the home for a minimum of 1 year unless violations to the House Rules and Membership Agreement.
The Room Rent Payment includes the room rent, access to common areas of the home, and utilities. House members are expected to maintain cleanliness and respect for others' property at all times.
We appreciate being a resource for housing Veterans, at this time we manage large caseload with a waitlist. Priority is given to those future members with a completed member application, paid deposit, and clear background check.
